Dealing with Depression

Dealing with Depression

This resource is based on the Dealing with Depression workbook created by three M.D.s originally through a grant from and in collaboration with the Ministry of Children and Family Development as part of the Child and Youth Mental Health Plan in 2003.

Dealing with Depression (DWD) is meant for teens who have been coping with depressed mood. This resources teaches a set of skills you can apply to your own life to overcome depression.

DWD is intended for: teens with depressed mood, concerned adults who want to help a depressed teen, and other teens who want to help a friend or family member.

This resource is meant to provide teens with accurate information about depression. It is not a psychological or medical treatment, and is not a replacement for treatment where it is needed.
